Entry Details



You can enter one of three ways - by post, on the day, or online on this page...

Post
Postal entries close on Friday 8th October at 5.00pm. Please send you completed and signed form to:  Tour of Waikanae, PO Box 210, Waikanae.  Cheques to be made payable to:  Tour of Waikanae.

On the Day
Late entries can be made on the day at the Waikanae Recreational Centre between 7.00am and 8.30am.  An additional $10 late entry fee per person will be charged on the day.

Online Entry
To enter the Tour of Waikanae use our secure on-line system (see below) with the advantage of payment by VISA or Mastercard. All on-line entries will receive confirmation of acceptance of their entry by return email.

Entering online will produce an eTicket which you should print out and bring when you collect your race packs (see details below).

 

Early Bird Entries - be in to win!
All participants who register their entry before the 20th of September 2010 will be in for the chance to win a $200 shopping spree at Pak N Save

 

 

Note:  There is no team relay event in the road event - but there is a 4 person team event for the mountain bikers.


 


Please Note:  Online entiries close at 5.00pm on Friday 8th October.  Manual enties after that time will incur the late entry fee.

Card Security Code

The card security code is a unique three or four digit, non embossed security number, associated to your credit card number, as illustrated below.

Visa / MasterCard
The three-digit card verification code (CVV or CVC2) is non embossed and typically printed on the signature panel of your card, immediately after the card's standard number, as show in this example. In some cases you may see the last 4 digits of your card number with the additional 3 digit security code following







Race Pack are available at Registration
All registered participants will receive a transponder with their race packs. It is important to follow the instructions on how to attach the transponder in order to record an accurate time. 

The race pack will also contain your official race number, any course changes, sponsor's gifts, a safety notice and race rules.

If you do not return your transponder at the end of the race you may be charged to replace it.

Collecting Race Packs
All participants are individually responsible for picking up their race packs at registration during the following designated days and times from the Waikanae Recreational Centre (on Ngarara Rd - next to the swimming pool): 
Saturday  9th October 3.00pm - 6.00pm.
And on the day from 7.00am.

 

  • Each entrant must complete and entry form (electronic or hard copy) in full.
  • Participants must show their race number on the back of their clothing and the number must be visible at all times.  The helmet sticker must be fixed to the front of the helmet.
  • Participants must comply with the instructions of Marshals, Police, Fire or  other identified officials.
