Where to Park
Off road parking will be available at the start/finish area. Please follow the directions on Park Avenue.
Event Briefing
At 8.45am all riders must attend the race safety briefing held as the start area on Park Avenue (COMPULSORY)
Race Start/Race Finish
9.00am all distances start on Park Avenue. At 1.00pm marshalls will be removed from the course. After this time competitors will be responsible for finding their own way back to the finish line.

Results and Certificates
Results and downloadable certificates will be available within 7 days of the event.
Major Spot Prizes
Will be drawn automatically at 1.00pm. The main prizes are an Avanti Monza road bike values at $1599 or an Avanti Montari mountain bike valued at $1299 donated by On Yer Bike. You must be there to claim your prize. Any prizes not claimed will be re-drawn on the day.
 
Minor Spot Prizes
When you finish the course, check the minor sport prize board to see if you have won one of the many other spot prizes. You can claim your prize from the Prize Table on the day - located close to the finish area.
Water
It is recommended that all participants carry their own water bottle, especially if it is a warm day (it always is in Waikanae). There will be water available at the start area to fill your bottle.
Bike Check
We recommend you get your bike safety checked by a cycle technician prior to the event. The On Yer Bike Avanti Plus stores in Paraparaumu and Wellington are offering a FREE SAFETY CHECK for all participants in the Tour of Waikanae - along with a 10% discount on all parts and accessories purchased prior to the 2010 event. Just produce you race reciept/number to take advantage of this generous offer. |
